What you need to know

The following requirements help our program meet the credentialing obligations as specified by USHE, USBR and NACEP.

Standardized Documentation
  • Concurrent documentation is standardized; therefore, all syllabi must include the department’s course content and be in the approved format. The first page of each approved syllabi should not be altered.
Approval Process
  • Renewing instructors are required to submit an updated course syllabi and request form annually each November for the upcoming school year. Instructors seeking approval status for the first time will submit the following documentation: an updated resume, an approved syllabus, the request form and other paperwork listed in the qualifications document (look under downloadable forms)
  • Resumes are submitted with the initial documentation, and thereafter every 5 years (unless significant changes have taken place and an updated resume is requested)
Evaluation
  • All concurrent students are extended the privilege of evaluating the teacher of the course
  • We encourage all concurrent instructors to evaluate the WSU Concurrent Program
Program Philosophy
  • Courses should reflect the pedagogical, theoretical, and philosophical orientation of the WSU sponsoring department.

There are so many roles for Concurrent Enrollment Program partners. We're here to help you make the most of your time.
  • Concurrent Adjunct Faculty
