Q. How do international students register for this class?
A. International students without a social security number must print the web registration form and fax to 801-626-7095. Sorry, we cannot accept your registration online.


Q. Is this course available for academic credit from Weber State University?
A. No. This is a non-credit professional development class. In the future, there are plans to develop additional CISM courses for academic credit.


Q. Is there a minimum passing grade required to complete this course?
A. Students are required to pass all of the course quizzes with a minimum grade of 80%. Quizzes may be re-taken as many times as necessary, but a student may not advance from one module/section to the next until the quizzes in each module have been completed successfully.


Q. In addition to the registration fee for the online course, what other course materials are required?
A. There are no other course materials required other than the registration fee.


Q. What does a student receive after completion of this course?
A. Upon successful course completion, students will be able to print a certificate of completion verifying compliance with ICISF training requirements and .8 Continuing Education Units from Weber State University.


Q. How long do I have to complete the course?
A. Currently, the ICISF course has a one-month window to access the web site and information. At the end of the one-month period, access to the web site is closed. It is in the best interest of the student to push for completion within the 1-month period. A one time, one month extension may be granted, but there will be a $50 fee involved.


Q. What is the cost of the course?
A. Go to course schedule for a listing of fees per course.


Q. How do I contact my instructor?
A. You may contact your instructor by e-mail or phone. Contact information is provided in the course syllabus and with the biographical information.


Q. How do I register for the class?
A. You may register over the phone with a credit card. Call 801-626-6600 or you may register online. You may also print out the registration form and mail it to Weber State University with a check or purchase order:

International students without a social security number or those wishing to pay with a purchase order must print the web registration form and fax these forms to 801-626-7095.


Q. Is Financial Aid available for this course?
A. No. Students must secure funding. Some students pay for course work through company/agency benefit programs. Federal and State Financial Aid cannot be used for ICISF courses.
