Independent Study
The Distance Learning office extends Weber State University's quality education to students at home or work whenever they have time to learn.
Courses from a wide range of academic disciplines are available through independent study, allowing students to complete course work at home (or anywhere) at their own convenience. Over 2,000 students enroll in this self-paced individualized mode of study each year, choosing among over 70 courses from more than two dozen disciplines. Many of these courses meet core and general education degree requirements at Weber State University. Go to the Distance Learning catalog for complete list of courses available.
WSU Online
A variety of courses are available through WSU Online allowing students to complete course work online. You must be admitted to Weber State University to take online courses. Apply for admissions at weber.edu/admissions. WSU Online courses follow WSU published semester and registration schedule deadlines. You may register online wsuonline.weber.edu or by phone 1-800-848-7770 ext. 6600.
Health Professions Certificate and Degree Programs
- registry-preparation courses in respiratory therapy and the radiologic sciences
- associate degree in respiratory therapy
- bachelor's degrees in advanced respiratory therapy, clinical laboratory science, health information management, health promotion, health services administration, and in four areas within the radiologic sciences.
