Featured Online Instructor, Bill
Webb
 |
Not only
did Bill Webb have a job
almost immediately after
graduating from WSU's
technical sales program and
CPIM (Certification in
Production and Inventory
Management) courses, he was
asked by his instructors to
teach the CPIM course to
others. Bill currently works
at Autoliv as the logistics
coordinator. He manages
logistics operations for all
incoming materials and
outgoing products. Bill has
enjoyed teaching online
because "I get to meet a lot
of interesting people
online. I have students from
many different cultures." He
also likes the flexibility
it provides his students and
himself. When he's not busy
coordinating the operations
of the huge Autoliv plant,
he is spending time with his
two daughters, boating,
riding his motorcycle or
biking. Bill knows
firsthand the value of the
CPIM courses and hopes to
provide other students the
opportunities he's had. "The
certification is proof that
person has the capabilities
- companies are looking for
this. Companies want
students who have a
well-rounded perspective of
different manufacturing
environments and this is
what the class provides." |
