The Northern Utah Area Health Education Center was established in 2001 and is one of three AHEC centers located within the state of Utah with the mission of increasing access to health care through educational programs with youth, existing health care professionals, and the community.

Northern AHEC encompasses the mountains and valleys of northern Utah, with a diversity of populated cities and rural communities. Located on the beautiful campus of Weber State University in Ogden, Northern AHEC provides educational services to five counties, including Box Elder, Cache, Weber, Rich, and Morgan. Northern Utah AHEC also has a satellite office located on the campus of Utah State University in Logan, Utah.

Critical to the success of Northern Utah AHEC are our many partnerships and relationships with government, secondary schools, universities, trade and technical colleges, health care centers, and local businesses. Our many partners include Weber State University, Utah State University, Intermountain Health Care, Ogden Regional Medical Center, Ogden City School District, Weber School District, and many more.
