  Fall 2008 Payment Deadlines

Payment Deadline: Payments must be received by 4:00 pm on the date due. 
Seniors/Graduates Tuesday, August 19
Juniors Wednesday, August 20
Sophomores Thursday, August 21
Freshman Friday, August 22
Students with aid from the Financial Aid Office Follow the same payment deadlines as stated above.
Students who register on August 22 4:00 p.m., August 22  $40 late payment fee assessed unless student is enrolled in a monthly payment plan.
Students who register from             August 25th - 29th 4:00 p.m., August 29  $40 late payment fee assessed unless student is enrolled in a monthly payment plan.
Students who register after August 29th must pay by Friday during the week they register 4:00 p.m. Friday each week if new courses are added or if course changes are made.  $40 late payment fee assessed unless student is enrolled in a monthly payment plan.
Please note:                                                                                                     Payment deadline for late registration is due the same day you register.  A $40 late payment fee will be assessed if tuition and fee balance is not paid by due date.  Students that are enrolled in a monthly payment plan will not be assessed the late payment fee as long as payments are made according to plan payment schedule.
 
Other Important Dates
Web registration dates April 14th - August 29th
Fall class work begins for 15 and 1st 8 week block courses. August 25th
Last day to cancel (CL) a 15 week class (no entry on transcript) * September 12th
Last day for "W" grade withdrawal for 15 week class * October 24th
Please note:
If the bank dishonors your check or web check, you will be charged a $20 handling fee, and a hold will be placed on your record until cleared.

*Check with registration for CL and W dates for 8 week semester blocks.

The University reserves the right to correct tuition and fee charges as approved by the Board of Regents.

BILLING STATEMENTS - You will NOT receive a billing statement by mail.  Students can access their billing statements online by logging into eWeber.  You are encouraged to pay by mail or by the web.  Please refer to your eWeber account to obtain the correct amount due, then pay by the dates listed above.

PAYMENT BY MAIL - You may pay tuition and fees by mail.  Payment may be made by check or money order that bears your name and Student ID number.  Please include the exact amount of tuition and fees due.  Your check should also cover all costs for lab or other fees, any amounts due for traffic tickets, overdue library books, etc., and must be mailed so as to arrive at the WSU Cashier's Office by the appropriate payment deadline listed above.

Because of restrictions on credit card transactions Weber State University can no longer collect credit card information by mail.  If you want to pay by credit card you need to pay by the web or at the cashiers office.

PENALTY FOR LACK OF PAYMENT - You must pay by the appropriate deadline listed above.  A $40 late payment fee will be assessed if not paid by due date.  Also, unpaid accounts are subject to interest, collection fees, and credit bureau reporting.

LATE REGISTRATION - If you register during the first weeks of school, you will be obligated for payment, i.e., your courses will not be dropped for non-payment, and there will be a registration hold placed on your file for subsequent semesters. The hold will remain until tuition and fees are paid in full. Payment is due on the day you register.  Failure to pay your tuition and fees may result in the assessment of additional collection, interest, and litigation fees.

PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD - the university allows the use of credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, or Discover) for the payment of tuition and fees.
