Mock Interview

A mock interview is a simulated employment interview conducted by a career counselor. After the interview you will receive feedback on your interview and suggestions for sharpening your skills in this area. In addition, these mock interviews are videotaped, allowing you to evaluate your own interviewing style as an outside observer. To schedule an appointment with Greg Nielsen for a mock interview, please contact the Career Services Office at(801) 626-6393. This is a free service offered to WSU students and alumni.

Resume Review

If you would like feedback on your current resume and tips for maximizing its effectiveness, please schedule an individual appointment with Greg Nielsen by calling (801) 626-6393. This is a free service offered to WSU students and alumni. Senior Employment File Education students at WSU who are within one year of graduation are strongly encouraged to open a graduate employment file.  The fee for this service is $25 for the first year.  The file will be permanently kept at WSU and can be reactivated at any time.  Opening a senior placement file allows Career Services to forward information about you to potential employers.  In addition, the file serves as a convenient place to keep your cover letter, resume, letters of recommendation, etc.  Copies of these materials can then be sent directly to employers of your choice. An open file is required for all students who participate in on-campus interviews.
