What is the WSU Internship Program?

Weber State University's Cooperative Education/Internship program offers students the opportunity to get practical hands-on work experience in a field related to their major.   In addition, students may earn academic credit in their instructional department based on the completion of specific learning objectives and projects that have been approved by a faculty member in their department.  For more information contact the Career Services Office

How can an internship benefit me?

The internship program provides you as a student with several benefits including opportunities for:
   - applying classroom learning in on-the-job situations
   - testing one's interest in and suitability for a particular career field
   - working with professionals in your prospective fields and establish future networking contacts
   - building your resume

Important: To arrange for academic credit for your internship experience you must contact the internship coordinator for your department.  To find out who this is, contact Career Services  at (801) 626-6393.
