Concurrent
Enrollment
High school juniors & seniors stay in high school
while earning both high school and college credit in
approved concurrent enrollment classes. The state
pays your tuition. You can earn up to 30 college
credits per year. Courses are limited to those
designated as concurrent courses. To see which
classes at your high school are designated as approved
concurrent classes, see the
course catalog.
Early College
High school juniors and seniors go to the university
for classes that fulfill both high school and university
requirements for graduation. You will pay the
tuition. Your course options are not limited.
Advanced Placement
Courses & Exams (AP)
AP classes and exams are available at your high school.
You can receive college credit for certain classes by
passing the exams. Earn up to 8 college credits
per AP exam. You will pay between $70 and $110 for
each exam. You will have a one-time opportunity to
take the test and get a good score.
College Level
Examination Program (CLEP)
These national exams determine your knowledge in a
particular area and grant you college credit for it.
Discuss these options with an
Early College advisor. Early college also
sponsors "information meetings" for both students and
their parents. View
schedule and location information. |
