You won't have to
pay for your college
credit (the state of
Utah pays your fees
while you're still in
high school).
You stay in your
familiar high school
surroundings while you
sample university
classes.
You'll be taught
by your familiar high
school teachers who
know your skill levels
and your strengths.
You won't have to
apply to the
university or take the
ACT test (for most
concurrent enrollment
classes).
Concurrent
Enrollment's
curriculum offers you
a wide variety of
classes - especially
in applied technology.
You can get a
head-start on your
career goals and/or a
university degree
while you are still in
high school.
Concurrent
Enrollment credit will
transfer to the other
public colleges and
universities in Utah.
Considerations
Your Concurrent
Enrollment
credits/grades will be
placed on your
permanent Weber State
University transcript
which may impact your
ability to receive and
maintain scholarships.
Many Concurrent
Enrollment classes
fill elective credit
only, and you will
need to work with an
academic advisor to
determine what can
count toward your
college major.
