Early College
Benefits
- You'll be admitted
to Weber State
University and earn an
official transcript.
- Your classes will
be taught by
university faculty.
- You may choose
classes from the whole
university listing.
- You may choose to
take some classes at
your high school,
participate in
activities there, and
graduate with your
class.
- You can enjoy
university life and
access many campus
resources, such as
tutorial services,
career and personal
counseling, athletics,
association
memberships, cultural
events, honors
program, travel study,
student activities,
etc.
- You'll get
personalized
advisement from an
Early Access academic
advisor.
- Your credit will
transfer to other
universities.
Considerations
- You and/or your
family will be
responsible for the
cost of your
university tuition and
fees, books & parking
permit.
- Early College
students are not
eligible for federal
financial aid.
- You'll need an ACT
score and a good grade
point average to be
accepted into the
program.
- It will be up to
you to coordinate your
university life with
your high school life.
- Your Early College
credits/grades will be
placed on your
permanent WSU
transcript. Poor
grades may impact your
ability to receive and
maintain scholarships.
