WSU Concurrent Enrollment
Registration Information
Pre-Admissions information and instructions to review prior to beginning the
registration process.
What Concurrent courses are available at my school
You can obtain this information in two general ways: : First, click on the red "students & parents" icon, and then click on the "classes" icon.. You will be able to view which courses are sponsored for concurrent credit at your high school. Second, we recommend that you discuss concurrent enrollment course options with your high school counselor and other identified school personal. An additional option is to meet with one of the WSU early college advisors. An appointment can be made by calling 801-626-7362, or by email at earlycollege@weber.edu.
How do I register?
Students must complete the online admissions process and pay the $30 admissions fee prior to registering for concurrent enrollment courses. Your high school will provide the concurrent course information needed to complete the registration process. After you have obtained the necessary information from your high school, print a copy of the Registration Instructions. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. To begin the registration process, login at weber.edu and follow your printed copy of the instructions.
Do I receive a welcome packet?
Yes, please expect an acceptance packet from the WSU Admissions office about 5 business days after you complete the admissions process. The packet will contain an acceptance letter with your official W# on it. Please keep the acceptance letter and memorize your W#, as it will allow you access to your university portal in order to register for concurrent courses.
If you have not received a packet within 5 business days, please check with your teacher to see if your name is on the course list. If your name is not on the course list, contact the admissions office by phone at (801) 626-6743, or by email at admissions@weber.edu to make sure that both the admissions and registrations processes have been completed.
Can I apply for scholarships?
You will be automatically qualified for academic scholarships when you apply and have your high school transcripts sent to WSU. If you are interested in departmental or activity scholarships at WSU, please access the scholarship link in your WSU student portal under “student services,” and fill out the requested information. Each year, the deadline for submitting this application will be the second Monday in January for the following fall semester. Also, if you earn an associate's degree by September 1 of your graduation year, you qualify for the New Century Scholarship. Information sessions are available if you wish to learn more about the New Century Scholarship.
