submit a proposal
for presentation at
the 15th Annual
American Association
for Collegiate
Independent Study (AACIS)
conference to be
held November 1-3,
2007 in Ogden, Utah.
The conference will
be hosted by Weber
State University.
Presenters will pay
reduced conference
fees and are
encouraged to attend
the entire
conference. This
annual conference
provides
opportunities for
independent study
and distance
learning
professionals to
share insights and
experiences with
their peers - fellow
administrators,
curriculum
developers, faculty
members, student
services personnel,
support staff, and
others.
Each year, the
AACIS organization
seeks to discuss the
concerns and new
developments in the
field of independent
and distance
learning. We
encourage proposals
on topics related to
the areas of
research and
assessment,
operations and
student services,
curriculum
development, course
design and editing,
marketing, and
administration.
Presentations may be
made by individuals
or groups, and may
use a variety of
formats (lecture,
panel discussion,
group interaction).
Each session is
approximately 45-50
minutes long. |
