| No matter
where you are, Health Care Coding
courses are available to you in a
variety of ways: through Independent
Study, Online, at Smart Sites or
face-to-face at Weber State
University. |

Online courses are delivered via the
Internet and must be completed by
the end of each academic semester.
All of the courses required to
complete the Institutional
Certificate for Health Care Coding
can be obtained by taking online
courses using the
recommended curriculum schedule. |

This self-paced, pencil-and-paper
method allows you to begin a course
at any time, submit assignments
through U.S. mail and must be
completed within six months from the
day you begin a course. You may
complete the health sciences portion
of coursework through Independent
Study and complete the other
required courses either online, at a
Smart Site or on campus. |

Students in rural areas of Utah may
complete online coursework through
the Smart Site program. Though the
smart sites themselves will not
deliver coding curriculum, the sites
provide a place where students will
have Internet access to online
courses. |
The entire Institutional Certificate for Health Care Coding can be obtained using
the traditional classroom setting at Weber State University’s campus, 3850 Harrison Blvd., Ogden, Utah. |
