Early College
Scholarships
More than $100,000 in new
scholarship money is
available for Early College
students. To qualify for the
WSU merit-based
scholarships, a student
must:
- Be admitted to the
Early College program
- Enroll in at least 6
credit hours (usually 2
courses)
- Have an
index score of 106
or above (index score is
based on high school GPA
and ACT composite
score).
No other application is

Early College
Private Donor
Scholarships
There are also
private donor
scholarships available
for Early College
students enrolled
full-time (12 credit
hours).
These scholarships
are awarded in July for
the fall and spring
semesters. Early College
students qualify for
these scholarships on an
application basis.
Consideration for these
scholarships is based on
a student's:

Activity/Departmental
Scholarships
Early College students are
not eligible for academic or
departmental scholarships
through the scholarship
office of the University.
Some students have been
eligible for activity
scholarships (such as
football, music, etc.). If
you have a special talent
and you feel you would be
eligible for this type of
scholarship, please call the
respective WSU department
for deadlines, requirements,
applications, etc.
Private Scholarships
Some students
have been able to secure
private scholarships.
Students loans are not
available to Early College
students.
Centennial Scholarships
The Centennial scholarship
is an incentive to graduate
early from high school.
Funding for this scholarship
is contingent upon state
legislative funding.
Students who graduate a year
early receive $1,000 and
those who graduate 1/2 year
early receive $500.

New Century Scholarship
In the past there have been
New Century scholarships
made available to students
who complete their associate
degree before graduating
from high school. Funding
for this scholarship is
contingent upon state
legislative funding. It's
important to apply for this
scholarship if you intend on
getting your associate
degree before you finish

Tuition Payment Plan
The Tuition Payment Plan is
a program intended to help
students who are not able to
pay their loan in full when
tuition is due. Instead of
one large payment, tuition
is broken down into equal
monthly payments. Visit the
