Weber State University offers
four higher education opportunities:
Concurrent Enrollment, Early
College, Advanced Placement (AP) and
College Level Examination Program (CLEP).
Participating in these programs
allows students to receive college
credit before graduating from high
school.

Advanced Placement (AP) |
|
|
|
AP classes are offered through and taught at your high school. At the end of
your AP class, you will be given the opportunity to register for and take an
exam. You can receive college credit depending on your score on each AP exam.
Regardless of your score on the AP exam, you will still receive high school
credit for the AP class. |

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) |
|
|
|
CLEP is offered through the university. To earn CLEP credit, you take a national
exam that tests your knowledge in a particular area. You will receive college
credit depending on your test score on each CLEP exam. |

|
|
|
High school juniors and seniors take university-approved courses at the high
school to earn both high school and college credit. |

Early College |
|
|
|
High school students take classes at Weber State University to fulfill both high
school and university requirements for graduation. |
