Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How and when will I receive the materials for this course?
A. Please note that materials will be shipped to the address individuals provide on our registration form. Once you have registered and paid for this course with Weber State University, APICS CSCP Learning System materials will be shipped directly to you via the APICS CSCP distribution center. Expect delivery of materials approximately one week prior to course start-date.

Q. Is this course available for academic credit from Weber State University?
A. No. This is a non-credit professional development class.

Q. What does a student receive after completion of this course?
A. Student test scores will be recorded from the APICS CSCP Learning System. Upon completion of all pre, post, and section testing, along with the submission of an online course evaluation, individuals will be able to print a Certificate of Completion inside the course. The certificate will designate 45 contact hours from Weber State University.

Q. How long do I have to complete the course?
A. There is a four-month window available to students to access the course web site. At the end of the four-month period, access to the web site is closed. We offer students one month extensions at a fee of $100 per extension. A maximum of two one month extensions is allowed.

Q. How do I contact my instructor?

Q. How do I register for the class?
A. You may register online. You may also print out the web registration form and mail it to Weber State University with a check or purchase order payable to:

Q. Is Financial Aid available for this course?
A. No. Students must secure funding. Some students pay for course work through company/agency benefit programs. Federal and State Financial Aid cannot be used for the APICS CSCP course.

Q. May I view a course syllabus before I register?

Q. Which APICS certifications are offered through Weber State University?
A. Both the APICS Certified in Purchasing and Inventory Management (CPIM) along with the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) classes are offered through Weber State University.

Q. How do I take the certification exam?
A. Registration for the APICS CSCP exam is done entirely through APICS. Go to the APICS web site at http://www.apics.org/certification/cscp/cscpexam.htm for registration and testing information.

Q. Can I withdraw from the class?
A. Yes. Withdrawal is accepted up to the third week of the class. Partial refunds will be prorated according to university policy. **Refunds are not available on APICS CSCP materials. Click here for refund amounts (go to “Refunds and Cancellations” at the bottom of page).
