This course is designed to assess basic knowledge of quality tools and their uses by individuals who are involved in quality improvement projects, but do not necessarily come from traditional quality areas. The course addresses the rapid spread of quality principles and practices throughout organizations, and covers the basics of quality at a fundamental level in a way that is not exclusively addressed in any of the other certification courses. This course also helps prepare the participant for the Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) examination.

Review metrology/calibration and geometric dimensioning
Understand sampling principles and quality audit concepts
