professional responsible
for developing the
specific process needed to
ensure a quality product.
The course is heavily
weighted in statistics.
This course helps prepare the
student for the Certified
Quality Engineer (CQE)
Examination. Requires at
least eight years of work
experience in one or more
areas of the body of
knowledge including at
least three years in
decision-making technical,
professional or management

This course approaches
quality from the
perspective of the
production technician
using applied statistics,
total quality concepts,
inspection techniques and
methods and nonconforming
material control, sampling
principles used in
production management and
industry standards. Course
helps prepare the student
for the Certified Quality
Technician (CQT)
examination. Requires at
least four years of work
experience in one or more
areas of the body of
knowledge.
