Dear Students, Welcome to the Weber State University Chemistry Department. Here you will find a staff of Ph.D.
Chemists from all of the various disciplines in chemistry, that were selected on their teaching and
communication ability. They are interested in providing you with a quality education that will give you the
knowledge to be successful in any field, whether it is a chemistry major or just classes needed to become
an Engineer, Doctor, Dentist etc. Weber State is an exciting place to study Chemistry. Our classes are
relatively small and are taught by experienced instructors who’s doors are always open to aid students.
Students have "hands-on" use of modern instruments and will find many opportunities for working on
