Asthma affects an estimated 7.1 million children in the US under 18 years of age, making it one of the most common chronic childhood disorders (American Lung Association, 2014).  Asthma occurs as a result of a stimulus which can range from allergens, cigarette smoke, changes in temperature, stress, or exercise.  In this case we’ll experience an asthma attack and subsequent treatment with 16-year-old Ben Mason.
