  • Weber State News Advisor. Each week the Weber State News team produces two 20-minute newscasts focusing on news at Weber State, Ogden, and the surrounding community. Our newscast airs over AT&T cable to nearly 30,000 households in Weber and Davis counties. Our newscast earned best in the region recognition from the National Broadcasting Society in 2001. We plan to earn that award again this year.

In addition to WSN, I am generally producing, writing, videotaping, and editing a video project on campus. Those projects include:

  • "Arts & Humanities Graduation Video" - For two years, my Advanced Audio and Video students produced a video shown at the College of Arts & Humanities Commencement Ceremonies.
  • "Connecting: Interpersonal and Small Group Communication" -
  • A 15-part video series delivering the content of the Comm 1050 class on videotape for use in high school tele-concurrent courses. We are currently working on a new phase of the project for use at Applied Technology Centers.
  • "Toy Story" and "Stress" - 30-minute television specials produced for the Department of Child and Family Studies.
