Come to class prepared!
Please accomplish the items below
prior to December 14, 2007.
Once registration and tuition has
been received, accomplish the
following:

A
mandatory pre-test must be
completed by noon December 14, 2007
at either the Davis or Weber State
Ogden campus testing centers.
A test score of
less than 84%
indicates significant
review with additional study is
needed to pass this course.
Suggested study aids include:
Mosby’s
Paramedic Textbook by
Sanders or Essentials of
Paramedic Care by Bledsoe,
Porter, and Cherry, ECGs Made
Easy by Barbara Aehlert.

A
mandatory drug test must be done
at any Work Med center between
January 4 - 18, 2008. There are two
forms(1)
(form2) that you must download
and take with you. (you can also
find them on the forms
page)

You must
email a schedule of your available
days (offer at least 6 alternative
dates 1/22-4/28/08) to attend the
required clinical OR/ICU time
(plan on two 8 hour days) to dfluckiger@weber.edu
(801-726-0272) no later than
1/11/08.

Download all forms
on the left side of this page,
fill them out, and bring them to the first
day of class. Vaccination dates
should be researched prior to
attending class.

This
program will utilize current
ACLS science guidelines and the
1999 National Standard Paramedic
Curriculum as the base standard.
It is mandatory that you have
attended and passed a CPR , ACLS,
PALS, or PEPP course that
incorporated the 2006 science.

This

should be viewed after the video.
Current Provider Manuals for
ACLS and PALS are required
and will be referred to
throughout the course. Fax current
CPR, ACLS
Provider, PALS or PEPP
Provider cards, and Paramedic
Certification or Nursing License
