Because geography is a holistic discipline, a degree in geography at Weber State allows you to take classes in a broad range of areas, as well as concentrating on a particular emphasis. There are four core courses required of all majors, and further classes depending on the choice of emphasis.

Students may concentrate on one of seven different emphases in geography. These are Geography (regular emphasis), Environmental, Planning, Latin America, European Studies, Asian Studies, Ethnic Studies, and Geography Teaching.
