Because
depression and other
mood disorders
affect college
students in large
numbers. They create
problems in many
areas, including
school, work,
relationships,
physical health, and
personal success.
Yet they are
treatable illnesses
and help is
available. |

Everyone
interested in their
own mental health or
the mental health of
loved ones. |

This
event is part of a national campaign to heighten
awareness of mental health issues on college campuses.

Information
will be available on depression, bipolar disorder,
generalized anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress
disorder.
-
Students
may take the opportunity to complete a brief screening
test and speak one-on-one with a mental health
professional about their mental health concerns.
-
Experiential
wellness activities will include a test anxiety
workshop, a yoga/pilates demonstration, and a
relaxation/meditation exercise.
-
Play
games promoting mental health and self care. Win fun
prizes and share in many giveaway items.

Enjoy
a selection of healthy snacks, comfort foods, and
beverages.
