Have you ever needed to have someone provide you with a presentation on either a health education or drug and alcohol topic? The following presentations can be implemented in academic classrooms or as workshops with selected groups and modified to meet specific needs.

I Want to Quit Smoking but How?
Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of death in the United States, but is an extremely addicting habit difficult to quit. This workshop focuses on teaching participants how to identify triggers, make a plan, and kick the habit.

CHOICES About Alcohol and Other Drugs
The purpose of this workshop is to motivate students to be more contemplative about their CHOICE to use or abuse alcohol and other drugs. Emphasizing student involvement in a classroom discussion, students gain the knowledge they need to make informed decisions along with the skills to follow through with those decisions.

You Are What You Think
Healthy behaviors, as with all behaviors, are influenced by how we perceive and process the information we are exposed to. This workshop encourages mindful and critical media consumption focusing on increasing one’s ability to critically think about the health information each of us is exposed to daily.

Nutrition 101
Learn the basics about nutrition and the skills to create a healthy diet for yourself and loved ones. This workshop can include how to read a food label, healthier cooking techniques, tips for eating on the go, and other nutrition skills.

Self Awareness
Take this opportunity to connect the dots between your feelings, your emotions and your behavior. Learn how to integrate stress and time management skills, along with fun into your life to achieve balance.

Fitting Fitness into Real Life
Staying active and physically fit is very important. However, finding time in your busy schedule to make good choices can be a challenge. Learn techniques on how to fit fitness into even the busiest schedule.
