Hold
(call waiting)
If privacy is desired, the existing
caller can be placed on HOLD.
Use
the hold code to answer a second
call when CALL WAITING is used.
Analog
To place a call
on hold:
1. Flash switch hook or recall button.
2. Dial *3.
(place handset on desk, do
not hang up)
To return to
held call:
1. Hang up handset
(sends 3-burst ring).
2. Lift handset.
Digital
To place a call
on hold:
1. While
on a call, press the hold button. A green lamp
will light up on the phone, indicating that your call is
on hold.
To return to
held call:
1. Press the
button next to the green lamp.
Conference
If all parties need to be connected at
the same time, a CONFERENCE can be established (3-party
conference call).
Analog
To add
a third party to a call:
1. Flash switch hook or recall button.
2. Dial the number of the 3rd party.
3. Flash switch hook or recall button.
Digital
To add
a third party to a call:
1. While
on a call, press the conference button.
2. Dial the number of the 3rd party.
3. Press
conference again to join the calls.
Transfer
If the calling party has reached the
wrong number, or needs to talk to someone else, the call
can be transferred.
Analog
To
transfer a call:
1. Flash switch hook or recall button.
2. Dial the number the call will be transferred
to and announce the call.
3. To complete the transfer, hang up.
Digital
To
transfer a call:
1. While
on a call, press the transfer button.
2. Dial the destination
number.
3. Press the transfer button again
to complete the transfer.
Send-All-Calls
Allows users to direct all incoming calls
immediately to their coverage path.
Analog
To Activate:
Lift
handset and dial *4.
To Deactivate:
Lift handset and dial #4.
Digital
To Activate:
1.
Press the Menu button.
2.
Select "SAC". An arrow will appear above the
letters, indicating that send all calls is active.
To Deactivate:
Follow the same process as above.

Call Forwarding
Allows all calls to an extension number
to be forwarded to a selected internal extension number.
Analog
To Activate:
1. Lift handset and dial #2.
(listen for a second dial tone.)
2. Dial the number you are forwarding calls to plus the #
key.
To Deactivate:
1. Lift
handset and dial #3.
Digital
To Activate:
1. Press the menu button.
2.
Select "CFrwd". You will hear a dial tone.
3. Dial the number you are
forwarding calls to. You will hear a confirmation
tone. An arrow will appear above the letters,
indicating that call forwarding is active.
To Deactivate:
1. Press the menu button
and select "CFrwd". The arrow above the words will
be removed.
Follow the analog process to use this feature if it does
not appear on your phone menu options.
Abbreviated Dialing
Provides a list of stored numbers that
can be accessed easily by the user to quickly place
local, long-distance, and international calls.
Analog
To
program a number:
1. Lift handset.
2. Dial the program code *0.
3. Dial list number 1.
4. Dial the item number (01-09).
5. Dial the telephone number you wish
to store plus the # key.
To Make a call:
1. Dial the list access code *8.
2. Dial the item number (01-09).

Automatically redials the last number

Call Pickup
Allows users to answer calls ringing
at other extension numbers within their specified
CALL PICKUP group.
Note: Call pickup
groups are created by the System Administrator upon
request.

Digital
To pick up a call:
1. Press the menu button.
2. If a call is coming in, CPkup will
have an arrow over it. Select it to pick up the
call.

EC500
EC500 links your desk phone to
another number of your choice. Both phones will ring
simultaneously. It can be activated and
deactivated from any phone.
Note: Initial setup is
required by the System Administrator.

press the # key again.

Automatic Wake
Up:
Allows users to request a

The intercom feature allows one user
to call another user in a predefined group by
