WSU Youth Soccer Clinic Will Be a Kick for Kids Wednesday, May 02, 2001
OGDEN, Utah – If you know children between 4 and 15 whose goal is to be better soccer players, bring them to Weber State University for a free soccer clinic on May 19.
Sponsored by the WSU Alumni Association and the Young Alumni Council, the sixth-annual youth soccer clinic will give children and young teens a chance to meet high school and WSU soccer players. They will also participate in skill drills and team-building exercises. All participants will be given a water bottle, sun visor and snack bag. There will be a drawing for additional prizes.
The clinic will run from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Health & Physical Education Complex Soccer Playing Field, west of the tennis courts on the southeast corner of campus. The clinic is free, but players must register by May 17 to participate. You can reserve a spot by calling 626-753.
