Family

I was born at McKay-Dee Hospital and raised in Kaysville, UT.  I attended Davis High School and got my Bachelor's from WSU in Technical Writing.  I currently live in West Point with my husband Reed, and our two kids Lily and Dalton, and our dog Buttercup.  We love to go bike riding as a family around our neighborhood.

What brought you to WSU?  How Long have you been at WSU?  Any other jobs or positions at WSU before OWL?

I wanted to work at WSU because I attended school here, and thought it would be a good place to work.  I started in 2003 in the Health Administrative Services office as the secretary, and moved to the Office of Workplace Learning in 2005.

I enjoy meeting a variety of people on campus in my training classes.

Everyday Creativity.  This class is so much fun and we all need to have some fun once in a while.

Before I die I want to  Travel to the Emerald Isle and Turkey.

What brought you to WSU?  How Long have you been at WSU?  Any other jobs or positions at WSU before OWL?

Did my undergraduate studies at WSU.  After getting my MBA and spending a decade out in industry I saw an opportunity and came to Weber in 2001 as the Registration Manager in Enrollment Services.  Moved to HR and OWL in 2003.

Most rewarding aspect of your job in OWL

Sharing the importance of lifelong learning.

Favorite topic on which to train and why

FranklinCovey's The 7-Habits.  All success in the workplace begins with personal development and improvement.  I enjoy seeing the 'aha' moments employees experience through these classes, the end result of increased personal effectiveness, and increased productivity and success in the workplace because of it.

Before I die

I want to live so as to have no regrets.

Something I want to Accomplish Soon

Take the kids to Sea World and Disneyland.

In the next 20 years

I want to ride on a relay team in LOTOJA.

My supervisor and co-workers make everyday an adventure.

Customer Service related themes along with anything technical (computer geek galore).

Before I die

I want to have a six pack (not the kind you buy at the store but what you can wash clothes on if your washer breaks).  :-)
