PARKING PERMIT TYPES AND PRICES

A - Permits

Amount :  $97.00 per year or $75.00 per semester

• Students are eligible for these permits on a first-come, first-served basis.

• You must park in your designated "A" parking lot.
• You may park in any "W" or "R" parking lot.

W - Permits

Amount :  $62.00 per year or $49.00 per semester

• These lots are located all around campus and include campus roads.

• Permits may be purchased at any time.
• You may park in any "W" parking lot.

R/W - Permits

Amount :  $62.00 per year or $49.00 per semester

• Reserved for Residence Hall residents.

• Can ONLY be purchased by housing residents and adjoining tenants.
• You may park in any "W" or "R" parking lot.

Disability Permits

Amount $62.00 per year or $49.00 per semester.

• Register with parking services to purchase a permit.

• Display state placard with campus parking permit.
• Valid in any lot, unless otherwise noted on permit.
• Individuals with temporary disabilities can obtain a temporary disability permit at the cost of $8.00 per week for a maximum period of 2 weeks.

Dee Events Center Permits

Amount :  $20.00 per year or $15.00 per semester

Valid for parking at the Dee Event Center Only.

Davis Campus Faculty/Staff and Students

Parking permits can be purchased and citations can be paid at the Bookstore located on the second floor -- please leave your flashers on while inside the building.

Motorcycles

Riding a motorcycle or moped is one of the easiest and most economical ways to get to campus. Not only do motorcycles reduce traffic congestion, but parking is much easier than for an automobile. There is no permit required to park motorcycles on either campus, however, you must park your motorcycle in the designated motorcycle area. These areas are typically found at the end of parking rows and have green hash marks on the pavement. Motorcycles may not use automobile spaces except at paid meters.

Temporary Permits

Temporary parking for the "A" or "W" permit areas is issued for not more than two weeks. Temporary "A" permits will only be issued to holders of annual "A" permits and only in the assigned "A" lot. Temporary permits cost $2.00 per day or $8.00 per week.

Vendor Permits

Amount :  $97.00 per year or $75.00 per semester

Vendors are required to have a valid permit while conducting business on campus. These permits are valid in specific areas. The cost of a temporary vendor permit is $2.00 per day or $8.00 per week.

Contractor Permits

Contractors working on campus are required to have proper parking permits on their vehicles. Arrangements can be made through Facilities Management.

Guest Permits

A guest is defined as someone who is invited to campus for various reasons. Examples include prospective students, dignitaries, guest lecturers and speakers. Prearranged guests may obtain permits at the Information Booth. Guests may also park in the pay parking lot or at parking meters, with the responsibility to pay the regular fee, or ride the Wildcat Express campus shuttle.

UTA Ed Pass

Weber State University has entered into an agreement with Utah Transit Authority. Under this agreement WSU faculty, staff and students are able to ride UTA buses by showing their current WSU Wildcard or the UTA Ed Pass card which will be issued at a later date. Ski and Handi-trans buses are not included in this program.
