Tuition Waivers
Full and Half tuition waivers are
available. Auditions for the next
academic year, 2006-2007, are to be held
on February 11 at 12:00 PM in the Browning Center room.38

O'Neal Scholarship
This scholarship is funded in memory of
Patti O'Neal who was a member of the WSU
dance faculty. She left this earth after
a valiant fight with cancer and will be
remembered.

Scholarship for Creative Arts
This scholarship is awarded in the hopes
to enhance and enrich the social,
cultural and artistic climate of the
university community by funding
scholarships and fellowships which
support creative and artistic efforts by
the students and faculty.

Wetherell Reed Scholarship
Mrs. Reed was the premier dance teacher
in Weber County for many years and taught
hundreds of dance students. She also had
a love for drama as well as for music.
Her daughter, Sophie Reed Richards,
established this scholarship in memory of
her mother. Daughter Sophie, passed away
in 1997. She had recently graduated from
Weber State University at the age of 70.

| Anya
Kenley Scholarship
This award was established by Julie
Kenley in remembrance of her daughter,
Anya, who was sixteen years old when she
died of lymphoma. She was an accomplished
dancer, musician and writer. Anya
rejoiced in the arts. Had she lived, she
would have been both an artist
contributor and a patron. She preferred
that her opportunity not be lost but
passed on to other earnest students.

Completion
of the WSU Scholarship Application form is required to
qualify for all "named" scholarships (this does
not include the tuition waivers, the first listing on
this page). The deadline for this application is
January 15, 2004 for the fall semester of 2004. This
application is available at the Scholarship Office,
located in the Student Union Building, room 101, or go
online at www.weber.edu/scholarships. Additional
application forms may be required for the awards listed
above.
