The Provost's Office is responsible for the academic programs of the University. This includes over 215 majors at the associate, bachelor, and master level. It represents the collective work of over 460 full-time faculty, 400 adjunct faculty, 200 staff, and 16 executives. Together they provide education for over 18,700 students.

Academic Affairs includes seven colleges, the library, enrollment services, continuing education, applied technology education, sponsored projects, institutional accreditation, and assessment. Together we are responsible for instruction at two campuses, five other institutions and nine other locations throughout Utah, in six states, and throughout the world on WSU Online.

The provost is assisted by two associate provosts, nine deans, four enrollment service directors, and the combined efforts of faculty leaders and staff.  Together they manage a budget in excess of $90 million.

Associate Provost Bruce Bowen has responsibility for Enrollment Services, including Academic Advising, Admissions, Financial Aid, Graduation, Records, the Registrar’s Office, Scholarships, and Student Recruitment.
