Study Fatigue: Dr. Fowler and the Psychology department interns participated for the fourth year in a research study on the effects of fatigue on professionals in the law enforcement, military and medical fields. For more information click here.

Psychology Club and Psi Chi Honorary Initiation
Initiation will be held at April 16, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Membership
applications must be submitted to Dr. Shaw by Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in order to
be initiated as a member this spring.
The Stress Awareness Fair
The fair will take place on April 9th
from 8:00-2:00 in the mezzanine and ballrooms of the Shepherd Union
Building. We will have many stress-relieving activities, such as finger
painting, play-doh, sand trays, etc. Free shoulder massages will also be given
courtesy of a local massage school. Please stop by and relieve some stress!

Please note that Psychological Statistics (Psy 3600) has the traditional QL prerequisites of MATH 1030, 1040, 1050, or 1080. Students who
take the alternative route to QL (Phil 2400) will not be permitted to enroll in

The Drever Trust MSc Postgraduate Scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded to a postgraduate student accepted onto
an MSc course in any subject in Psychology. The award will cover fees at
the UK/EU level for the one year duration of an MSc program, but is
open to applicants from any country. A small additional amount may also
be available to contribute to research costs, and this amount may vary. For more

Immediately following the Jobs Panel (~2 or 2:15 pm) is a MANDATORY RMPA
planning meeting. If you plan on attending RMPA in Boise in April you MUST
attend this meeting or speak with Dr. Shaw by Thursday the 28th. We have to have
a firm head count in order to reserve hotel rooms, make car pool arrangements,
make sure your conference registrations get submitted on time, and so on.
