Members of the SOIT include: Brian Shuppy, Budget  & IR; Roxann King, Accounting Services; Vivian Donaldson, Athletics; Jolene Clark, Public Safety; Jennell Covalt, Shipping/Receiving; Margaret Gale, DEC Ticket Office; Hal Charlesworth, Facilities Management; Diane McBride, Facilities Management; Cherrie Nelson (mentor), HR and Quality Support; Valerie Stegeman (recorder), Budget and IR.

During July 2001, the SOIT team was formed to develop a program to recognize and reward the valued efforts of the employees in the Administrative Services Division.  The team conducted a recognition survey and recommendations for "spot" awards and the "outstanding performance award."

Awards include:

Ö "Spot" awards presented by the supervisor which is a non-monetary gift for immediate recognition

Ö "Outstanding Performance Award" administered by the VP's Office which is a cash award and a memento

Ö The plan is division-wide and any WSU employee can nominate an Administrative Services employee
