You will pick a topic from the 7th/8th grade core and find 3 web sites which you think have good resources for lessons on this topic -  

Send these 3 urls along with a 1-2 sentence explanation for each to Dr. Ohlhorst

sohlhorst@weber.edu.  Make sure that for each web site you specifically indicate which grade, standard and objective you would use this site for.

Sponsored by Cal  State Northridge, these two websites have a lot of resources for teachers to use for such things as teaching power of ten and conversions, and the chemistry page has graphic simulations of atomic structure and Power Point presentations on the periodic table.

You will each also give a brief presentation in class about what you found and why you liked these sites. You are welcome to mention sites that sounded good but were a disappointment.
