Tax Credit Resources Several tax benefits are available to
help students meet the cost of higher education. They include:
- Education Tax Credits
- Deduction for student loan interest
- Tax-free withdrawals from state-sponsored and private tuition savings
plans
- Tax-free withdrawals from educations savings accounts (ESAs)

- IRS Form 1098T for 2007 will be mailed to students by
January 31, 2008. Please contact 801-626-7877 after February
10, 2008 if you did not receive a form and new form will be mailed
to you. If you believe that there is an error on the form,
please bring picture ID to Accounting Services in the Miller
Administration Bldg, Room 204. Due to privacy laws, we
cannot provide tax information over the phone. Students must
show picture ID to receive information in person.
