Monthly rate depends upon the amount and number of contributions.
Divide the total contributions by the number of months of contributions.
If 36 or more months were contributed, divide by 36. If the Veteran
contributed $50/month for 36 months, compute the total entitlement as
follows:
$ 1800 - Veteran's contribution ($2700 maximum)
+ 3600 - Matching funds (twice Veteran's contribution)
+ ___0 - DoD contribution (kicker)
$ 5400 - TOTAL ENTITLEMENT
Veteran's monthly rate is computed as follows:
