Dr. Clark's research interests
include molecular studies of
transposable elements in insects,
and the use of DNA sequence
comparisons to understand evolution
and biological diversification. His
current research is focused on
understanding the origin of
eukaryotic chromosomal telomeres
using insects as model organisms.
Dr. Clark is the director of the
DNA laboratory, a well-equipped
facility that is used for both
research and teaching. He teaches
genetics, cell biology, molecular
genetics, and human biology.
